Framura
An Authentic Gem of the Ligurian Riviera
Framura is a hidden gem of the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, an authentic and tranquil village that preserves the charm of the most intimate Liguria.
It consists of six picturesque hamlets, which descend from the hills towards the sea and are connected by stairways and paths that wind through the village among colorful houses, alleys, crêuze, vegetable gardens and medieval towers. Once a fortified village, Framura still retains an authentic and suggestive atmosphere today.
Nature and Outdoor Activities
For nature lovers, Framura is a true paradise.
Here, trekking is experienced in tranquility, away from the crowds, along less traveled paths that are incredibly suggestive, winding through woods, olive groves and terraces overlooking the sea.
The Maremonti cycle-pedestrian path, which connects Framura to Levanto and Bonassola along an old railway line, is perfect to explore by bike or on foot, between illuminated tunnels and spectacular views of the blue sea.
Framura’s beaches are among the most authentic in Liguria: small coves of pebbles and wild cliffs, far from mass tourism, ideal for swimming in crystal clear waters or snorkeling.
